We fell asleep in each other’s arms. He was comfort, safety, and my own personal AC. His skin was cool and smooth. He traced lazy circles over my skin, telling me he was awake.
“You barely slept,” I said in a sleepy voice.
“I don´t need to sleep much,” he said, and I inhaled his fresh and comforting scent.
“We need to get ready; I must call my dad.” I paused, “He said we will see the oracle today.” I gave him a tender smile.
“You haven´t had any other messages from your Goddess?” he asked, and I shook my head.
“She only told me it was vital for my final mission to save you... She mentioned some other confusing things, so I focused on the immediate information we need for what we must do.” I sighed, and he nodded.
