‘Maybe I hugged her too tight?’ I can’t stop overthinking about what I did earlier. There’s a sudden awkward atmosphere between Ecean and I, and it is so obvious.
“Where have you been?” Auntie ask as soon as she saw us.
“Just having a walk” Ecean replied.
“And? Did something happened?” auntie ask. That made me look at her.
“Why?” it was Ecean who asked.
“Why an awkward atmosphere radiating in your aura? Did Avery do something? Did both of you do something?” auntie ask suspiciously.
Why does she sound like we’re doing something that only couples can do?
“What are you talking about?” Ecean ask but she’s avoiding auntie’s gaze. That made auntie’s suspicion rise.
