MAYA'S POV “I wonder where the children have gone to." Emma sighed, placing a tray of fresh fruits in front of me and shaking her head disapprovingly at my untouched breakfast. " I ate a lot last night. I'm not really hungry.” I offered an explanation before she could start lecturing me. Emma had gone from maid to friend to foe to mother in the past few weeks.
