When Blue said she was putting Skip at the top of her list, I thought she’d spend a few days researching on her laptop and then go out and talk to people who’d known him. Perhaps contact the cops who’d investigated the robbery and get their views on Skip’s character. Who, incidentally, wasn’t called Skip at all. His given name was Seth Hoffman, and his eventual arrest might have flown under the radar if not for the fact that he came from a wealthy New York family who’d disowned him when his outlandish views diverged from their conservative ones.
