“You okay in there?” Aaron asked. “I’ve left clothes outside the door.”
“I’m fine. And I don’t need to go to the hospital.”
He’d asked a hundred times on the drive back. I’d traded places with Kasper and ridden in Colt’s truck because I wanted to avoid a lecture from Luca. I still got a lecture from Aaron, but it was a smaller one, and he’d also lent me his jacket which meant I couldn’t complain too much.
Now I was hiding in his en suite while Deck used the family bathroom upstairs. I’d definitely gotten the better end of the deal because Aaron’s shower was big enough to turn a cartwheel in, and I could also delay the inevitable scolding from my brother for a little longer.
“You’re not still shivering?”
My eyes rolled automatically. “Nope.”
