Sophie.... Everyone else had already left. Again. I sighed and glanced at the clock. I hadn’t meant to stay this late, but the spreadsheet I was cleaning up for the marketing team took longer than expected. My eyes felt heavy and my head was starting to throb. I packed my things quickly, eager to leave before a certain someone showed up. The last thing I wanted was to run into Elliot. I had avoided him successfully all day, staying buried in my tasks, keeping to the side during meetings.
