I can’t describe the place I had been taken to. It was dark. Dank. And the cell they had thrown me in looked like something out of a bad Mel Gibson movie. I sat up to rub a grubby arm over my eyes to clear them, but it didn’t do any good. The only thing I got was a slimy mixture of muck across my forehead. Despite the darkness, I could make out the two shadowy figures that stood on each side of my cell door. They didn’t look like much, but without my sword, I knew I didn’t stand a chance against them. “Hey.” I shook the chains clamped down on my wrists. “Dude, the least you can do is loosen these damn things.
