Luna is curled up in the back of my mind purring. I'm on cloud 9 right now. "I didn't know that it would feel like that." I say to my mates. Xander chuckels quietly. "Oh, hunny it gets better than that. A whole lot better." he says to me. "Befor we take you though we need to talk." Xavier says to me. "I understand that all of this is new to you. We understand that you acepted us as your mates. You need to understand that we will protect you with our lives if need be." Xander says to me. "Well you both need to understand that I'm a hybrid. That trust is earned . You both are earning mine just by being here. I have a black belt in karate. I know how to defend myself. I'm also a marksman. I made the highest points at city and state. I can use lethal force when nessary. That man had me traped for years. I refuse to go down without a fight ever again" I tell them both. That's when I here a phone ring breaking the spell we were in. Xavier pulls away from me to answer the phone call. Luna whimpers at the loss of one of her mates contact. "Its mom." Xavier says to us. "Put it on speeker." Xander says. "Let me see whats going on first before we tell her." Xavier says. "Hello mom. How are you?" Xavier says. "Wow, mom calm down. Alright what happened?" Xavior asks. I'm on edge now. Something is wrong. What could it possably be? "Guys whats going on? Any idea?" I ask my girls. Befor anyone has a chance to answer, though Xavior is off the phone. "We need to go home like now. There was a small group of rouges that broke into our territory. Dads been stabbed with a silver knife. It doesn't look good. By time we get back it might be too late." Xavier says. "We can save them" Amelia says. "No you can't its silver!" Xander all but yells at me. "Just listen to me real quick. Xander link your beta and get him here NOW! I can save your father! We need to work quickly though. Xander, as soon as he gets here think of your home. You guys need to hold my hands. I'm going to try to telaport us there. OK?" I tell them. "We can get our stuff later." I say to them as Beta Paul and Brad walk in. "Alright guys ready?" I ask them. They all nod at me. I go through Xander's mind and find the perfect spot. The next thing I know we are all in the library. "This way! Hurry! " Xander says and rushes off. We follow closely behind him turning the corridor to a giant infermy. "Mom this our mate Alya. She can save dad." Xander says to his family. "How did you guys get back so fast? Wait she can save him?" Xander and Xaviers' mom shouts. "Please, I know this will work" I tell her. "Do whatever you need to do to save my mate." She tells my. I go over to the man. Hes an older version of my mates. I hold his mouth open and bight my wrist. Then let my blood drain into his mouth. A minute goes by, then two. His breathing gets better and so does his heart rate. The next moment the twins father sits up. "What the hell's going on here? I'm not laying here dying," he says. "Take it easy. You were on your deathbed a few minutes ago. You need to slow down." I tell him. "Dad this is our mate Alya Mae Jenkins. Baby this is our father Derick and our mother Diane." Xander says wrapping his arms around me while Xavier takes my hand. "It's nice to meet you both. Your boys mean a whole lot to me." I tell them. "Daddy!" a sweet little girl bursts in the room running up to Derick. "Hay baby girl. Daddy's alright now." "Baby, this is our little sister Bree. Sis this is our mate Alya. "Say hi." Xander says. Bree looks over at me and smiles. "Are you the one who saved my daddy?" she asks me. "That's right sweetheart." It was no problem at all." I tell her. "All rite everyone how the hell did she save my mate?" Diane asks. Well here goes nothing. "I'm a hybrid. My blood can cure any ailment. I am also immune to silver, wolfsbane, and a number of other things. I'm also gifted on my other sides." I tell them. "Wait a minute. You are a hybrid? Just how many sides do you have? Excatly what type of hybrid are you anyway?" Diane asks me. "Why don't I just shift and show you? I can't do it here though. Not enough room." I say "All rite where then?" Deric asks me. "The front lawn should work nicely. Though you will half to step back." I say. I follow everyone out on the front lawn. I take my shirt off and pants off. I'm wearing a tank top and shorts underneath. "OK guys I'm going to shift now. "Please don't be afraid of anything that happens," I tell them. I let Luna take over my body. The next thing I know I'm standing on four silver paws. Luna shakes out her fur. Then I shift into Artemis. Everyone gasps and steps back. Then Aria takes over. Arurora is next, then Anastasia. Amelia is after that. Then everyone gets a massive shock as I shift into Athena. As I shift back I'm wearing a white and gold lace dress. Complete with a gold tiara with precious jewels on it. "Well that was f**king awesome!" Diane says to me. "I can't believe what I just saw." Deric says. "Wait son where's your beta? Hes usually glued to your hip." Deric asks Xavier looking around for Paul. "OH . Probably with his mate now that hes found him." Xander says to his father. "Wait what!" Deric all but yells back."I decide to answer for my mates since they seem to be uncomfortable with the subject."Yes the beta is mated to my good friends brother Brad. Brad knew he was gay for years." I tell everyone. "Son you need to find a new beta. I wont have some Queer ruining our reputation," Deric demands. "What the f*ck dad. NO I wont find a new beta. To even suggest that is insane. Hes the best man for the job and you know it." Xavier says to his father. "The kingdom is flourishing. Everyone is happy. Paul is a great beta. You just can't see past your 1950s biasts." Xavoer says to his father. At that exact moment my stomach decides to voice its displeasure. That seams to brake everyone out of the very heated descution they are in. "Alright love. Lets go feed that lioness in your stomach again before she gets pis*ed." Xander laughs. I laugh at his comment as does everyone else. I follow my guys into a grand kitchen. The shere size of it is daunting. I'm in heaven. It has absolutely everything that a woman who loves to cook could ever want. Different size pots and pans line the wall. "All right hun. We have lasagna left over in the fridge if you want some." Diane tells me. She walks over and gets it out of the fridge. Cuts it and places some on three plates. As we eat our food 10 minutes later the twins are talking quietly. It seams like the conversation from earlier is over. I sigh as I watch the sun sink over the mountains in the distance. I really wish Everything could be this peaceful.
