Chapter 49: Coordinates
Alice's POV
Extruding with light and happy air around him, father had replaced and toned down the tension building that had been building up inside. Walking towards his seat at the center front of the table, he looks around us, beaming as he sits. Everyone seating down after him, the tension subdues a little.
“Good afternoon sir, glad to see you here.” One of the board directors that’s present here with us greeted father.
“Ah, yeah, I’m sorry for not telling you ahead that I’ll be here.” Nodding, he said and looked at me, mouthing-saying, ‘we’ll talk later.’
Then he turns back his eyes to the executives and smiled all around and said, “Mind to get me into the present’s discussion?” Asking everyone around to tell him how we got into this point of tension he got
