SHAMUS MCTIERNAN RAN one of the best and highest-earning Whyo crews. The men were all handpicked with one notable exception, Arlin McFarland, who became a member as a favor to one of the senior bosses. At the end of day one on the crew, the Chicago transplant demonstrated an uncontrollable temper, a poor work ethic, and an inability to understand the ways of the g**g, but he had a fury and a viciousness that was rare even among a group as s******c as the Whyos.
