It took us a few hours to get to Ethans' pack by car. I stepped out of the black SUV and looked up. He wasn't lying it really is a castle. I looked over at Ethan and he was grinning at me. I closed my mouth and walked to the door. He grabbed my hand and I spun around.
"What!" why the hell does he think he can touch me?
"You are going the wrong way. That is the servant's entrance. It would take you forever to get to your room if you go that way." he said with a smirk.
"Fine." I motioned for him to walk in front of me and he held out his arm. I rolled my eyes and sighed. I crossed my arms over my chest and tapped my foot.
He laughed and walked away, making me growl in frustration. I followed him into the surprisingly warm castle. I was expecting it to be cold and extremely gothic, but it was lush and beautiful. I stood in the entryway and looked up and around.
"I hate to admit it, but this is beautiful," I spoke to Ethan, but Adrian answered.
"It was decorated and designed by our great-grandmother. She was-"
I interrupted,
"And suddenly I no longer care." I walked off down a hallway and just kept walking. Surprisingly no one stopped me this time, so I kept going. I made it to a big oak door and Ethan put a hand on my shoulder,
"How about we explore that room another time, okay. But for now, your room is to the right." He directed me by pointing down the hallway.
I walked down the hallway and there was one door. I opened it and my mouth dropped for the thousandth time today.
The walls are a rich shade of Egyptian blue. The bed was massive and to get to it you had to walk up a small set of stairs. The floor is white marble and is decorated in Persian rugs. There is a large desk on the far side and a tv on the wall with a large grey sofa in the middle. There are also four doors. One for the bathroom, one for my closet, and two for the balcony. The view is amazing. You can see out to a field with trees behind it and behind the trees are the snow-capped mountains.
"Do you like it?" Ethan asked from the door. Adrian was standing beside him looking at the floor.
"I-yea. I do." I said
"Laura is going to stand outside your door so she can show you around when you are ready. Your bags are already in your closet. I will see you later."
I suddenly felt like I was bell trapped with the beast to save her father, but in this case, I am trapped with two beasts and it was to save my entire pack.
