"Very diligent of you," Parker said to Sarah. "So the detective faxed you a copy of the agreement?"
Sarah nodded. "Ryan told me that Mrs. Atkins's share, the $10,000, is already on deposit with the nursing home where she lives. He is obviously not happy about the fact that Diana took advantage of his grandmother."
Parker nodded. He looked pale, but that might have been just the glaring light in the bathroom. "What is he planning to do?" James asked Sarah.
"He is not sure. He does not have the cash to buy the house back, and I doubt the board of directors at the Morrison house and Old Age Home would be willing to part with the money they were given. If there is no other way to get the house back, I suppose he might sue."
