Detective Hudson returned within five minutes. She took a sip from her Zevia can and then asked Sarah, "Why must have Mr.Parker not removed Ryan out of the way, instead of Ms. Diana?"
"It must have probably been simpler to get rid of Diana. Ryan was an unknown entity who would not have stood still and let Parker slit his throat. Also, Diana might have done it again, as she had already been investigated by the commission once. Or she could have done something else, that would ruin Parker's reputation, and endanger his appointment to the real estate commission. He would be much safer with her out of the way. And I would not be surprised if he hoped Ryan would be suspected of the murder. It was like the idiom, 'killing two birds with one stone.' That is what I can presume," Sarah replied.
