Audrey sprang into action as Megan stared at her in terror.
She grabbed Megan by the hair and backhanded her across the face. Her voice was icy. "With those pathetic tricks, you thought you could take me on?"
The slap knocked Megan to the floor.
In the next instant, Audrey picked up the hammer and raised it high.
Megan lay on the floor, her face streaming with tears as she watched Audrey approach.
"W-what are you doing? Stop! If you hurt me, Marcus won't let you get away with it."
Audrey's mouth slowly curved into a smile.
"I already told you. Marcus likes you helpless. Let me help you."
Audrey brought the hammer down.
