Chapter 9

I was just about to light my blunt up when Nino and Anastasia walked through the door being all loud and s**t.

"You already know the deal when you spark that b***h up pass it over here". Nino said taking a seat on the couch.

"Hey brother". Anastasia said leaning down giving me a hug.

"Wassup and How y'all get in here". I ask looking over at Nino.

"Don't worry about all that". He said waving me off and I just shook my head.

"Why you been doing my bestfriend like that". Anastasia said out of nowhere causing me to look over at her.

"She a liar and I don't got time to deal with that s**t plus I'm talking to somebody now so chill out with that". I said and she stared at me.

"It wasn't that deep Kingdom you doing to much don't you think". She said taking a seat by Nino.

"Once you lie to me that lets me know you can't be trusted and you playing with my intelligence I don't move like that so I'm good off her". I said and she just shook her head.

I'm not gone lie I still got feelings for Alyssa but the s**t she did makes me not trust her and I can't be with somebody I don't trust especially in my line of business.

Anastasias phone rung and she answered it.

Passing the blunt to Nino I laugh at a part in this movie.

"YOU'RE WHAT,IT'S HOW MUCH". She yelled causing me and Nino to look over at her.

"Okay I'm on my way". She said before hanging up.

"Who was that". Nino asked as I waited for her to answer.

"Alyssa's been arrested for disturbing the peace her bond is 2,000 I don't have 2,000 dollars". She said and I shook my head.

"I'll pay for it let's go". I said standing up from the couch.

"Wait you for real". She asked following behind me.

"Yea two thousand ain't nothing". I said getting in my car as Nino got in the passenger side and she got in the back.

"Thank you". She said and I just nodded my head pulling off.

|POLICE STATION|

Getting out of the car I walk inside the building I walk up to the desk.

"I'm here to bail Alyssa Bailey out". I said pulling my wallet out of my pocket.

"Her bond is 2,000". He said and I nodded handing him the money.

I watched as he counted it out before folding it up.

"Take a seat over there she'll be out in 20 minutes I need to process her". He said and I nodded walking away to take a seat.

|20 minutes later|

Scrolling through my phone I hear screaming causing me look up and see Alyssa and Anastasia hugging.

Standing up I walk out of the building I feel someone grab my shirt and I look down and see Alyssa.

"Thank you". She said looking up at me.

"You good". I said getting in the car and starting it up.

Once everybody was in I drove off towards her house.

"So what happened girl". I heard Anastasia ask.

I wasn't sure if I should tell her right now because Kingdom was here but he made it clear he wanted nothing to do with me so why not.

"Damon took me to Applebee's to meet his girlfriend and she started talking crazy about Essence so I whooped her ass". I said with a shrug as I sat back in the seat.

"She talked about my niece". She whispered with her face scrunched up and I nodded.

"I wish I was there I would have cut that b***h". She said shaking her head as she looked out of the window.

The rest of the ride was silence after that the only thing that could be heard was music.

Feeling somebody shake me I open my eyes and look it the window to see my house.

"Thanks".I said getting out of the car.

"Love you I'll call you to tell you about my date". Anastasia said leaning out of the window hugging me before kissing my cheek.

"Love you too and have fun I want all the details". I said giving her a small smile.

"I will". She said getting back inside the car before Kingdom pulled off.

Sighing I turn around towards the house and slowly walk up to the gate I put the pin in before slowly walking up the driveway.

Opening the door I look around and don't see Damon and I let out a sigh before walking upstairs.

Walking into my room I toss my hand bag on the dresser.

"You thought that s**t you did was cute". I heard Damon say from behind me causing me to jump.

"I told you that was to ass right". He said but I didn't answer.

Feeling something go over my neck he started to choke me with it. I move around struggling to breathe.

After what felt like minutes I saw black spots before I passed out.
