One Night

Chapter 12

Waking up I feel pain in my stomach causing me to curl up into a ball.

I laid there for a few minutes before I decided to get up and walk around the room. The pain started to intensify so much to where I could barely walk.

"Where the f**k is my phone". I said to myself as I walk into the bathroom. Cutting the water on in the tub I make it warm before stripping out of my clothes and stepping in.

Leaning back I try to get my breathing under control.

|45 minutes later|

I've been in the tub the whole time adding hot water whenever it got cold because it was actually helping with the pain.

Out of nowhere it just felt like a pressure was released and I look down into the tub seeing blood mixed with water causing me to panic.

I stand up to get out of the tub when a sharp pain hit me again causing me to sit back down. Leaning my head back slowly I felt like I had to push so that's what I did.

After pushing for a few more pushes that feeling of pressure being released was felt and I throw my head back breathing heavily before looking down into the water and seeing a baby.

Wait what a baby.

Quickly sitting up I lift the baby out of the water and onto my chest and as soon as that happened it started crying.

Rocking side to side it starts to quiet down. Looking around the bathroom I see I left a pair of sneakers in here. Reaching over I grab them and start taking the laces out before tying it around the umbilical cord.

There's a shelf that I have by the tub that has scissors in it so I grab them and cut the cord.

After I did that I felt like I had to push again so I did and my placenta came out.

The baby then started to cry again so I started to sing.

"Baby, you're all that I want When you're lying here in my arms I'm finding it hard to believe We're in heaven We're in heaven".I sung looking down at him with a smile on my face.

"Baby, you're all that I want When you're lying here in my arms I'm finding it hard to believe We're in heaven And love is all that I need And I found it there in your heart It isn't too hard to see

We're in heaven".I continued to sing as tears rolled down my cheeks.

He stopped crying so I lifted myself up the bet I could before grabbing a big towel and wrapping it around us. Walking out of the bathroom I go downstairs and over to my purse. Digging through it I find my phone.

Dialing 911 I sit on the couch as I hear it ring.

"911 operator what's your emergency". The women on the other end said.

"Hi I just gave birth in my bathtub". I said looking down at the baby and he was already looking at me.

"Can I have your address please". She asked and I could here typing.

"1201 maple oaks community housing". I said smiling down at him.

"The ambulance Arron their way". She said and I thanked her before hanging up.

|15 minutes later|

There was a knock on the door so I get up and answer it.

"I see you're walking are you good to make it on the stretcher". He asked and I nodded my head sitting on it.

"Can you grab my purse and keys please lock the door for me". I said and he nodded as they rolled me away to the ambulance.

|3 hours later|

They checked me and they Baby when I first got here and he was healthy as can be.

I never knew o was pregnant and I expressed that to the doctor and he let me know that some people have no symptoms at all and if they gain weight it might be minimal.

"Knock knock". A nurse said walking in.

"So do we have a name for the little guy". He asked looking over at me.

"Saint kylo Bailey". I said and he nodded writing it down.

"Can you sign here for me". He asked holding the clipboard towards me and I signed it.

"Alright the doctor should be here in a few". He said before walking out.

A few minutes after he walked out a knock on the door came and I'm came the doctor.

"So we're going to keep you guys here for another day just to keep an eye on him". He said and I nodded my head.

"And because you didn't know you were pregnant did you consume any alcohol during the 9 months". He asked and I shook my head no.

"But I was in an abusive relationship I got kicked in the back a few times did that cause any harm to him". I ask looking from him to saint.

"From what I can see that didn't cause any damage but had it been your stomach then that would be another story not saying that being kicked in the back wouldn't cause any problems because it could". He said and I nodded letting him know I understood what he was saying.

"Alright I'll be back to check on you In a few hours". He said before walking out.

"Mommy didn't even know you were in there". I said looking down at him as he slept peacefully.

I knew exactly who his father was and I thank god it isn't Damon.

Now how am I going to get in touch with Kingdom...
