One Night

Chapter 4

Dialing his number again it goes straight to voicemail causing me to sigh. As I went to dial his number again there was a knock on the door.

"Girl what are you in here doing". Anastasia asked closing the door behind her.

"I'm trying to call Kingdom but he isn't answering the phone". I said tossing my phone on the desk leaning back into my seat.

"I told you to tell him the truth but no you didn't want to listen now look". She said causing me to roll my eyes.

"I know but I wanted to see where it would go". I said closing my eyes.

"Can you call Nino for me I know he's with him". I said opening my eyes looking at her.

"Yea hold on". She said pulling out her phone before handing it to me.

It was already on his contact all I had to do was press the call button.

"Wassup baby". Nino said as soon as the call connected causing me to scrunch up my face.

"Nino it's Alyssa can you give the phone to Kingdom". I said biting my bottom lip.

"My bad lil sis thought you was Anastasia but yea hold on". He said and I heard shuffling on the other end.

"Hello". He said and my heart started to beat out of my chest.

"Yo who the f**k is it". He said in an irritated voice.

"Kingdom it's me Alyssa". I said and I heard the dial tone.

Dropping the phone away from my ear I blink away the tears threatening to fall.

Handing Anastasia her phone back I get my things together to leave.

"Where are you going boo". Anastasia asked as she stood up.

"Home I need to get my mind together I can't work on any designs like this". I said throwing the strap of my purse in my shoulder.

"Get home safe I'll call you later on today". She said giving me a hug before walking out of the office behind me.

"I will". I said stepping into the elevator.

Stepping out of the elevator I hit the unlock button on my keys and get in the car. Starting it up I back out and head home.

Getting out of the car I lock it and walk into the house only to get knocked back outside. Before I knew what was going on I was being dragged in the house by my hair.

Hearing the door slam I stayed in my same position on the floor in pain.

"You thought that I was just gone let you walk in this b***h after the s**t you pulled the other day". He asked kicking me in my back causing me to cry out in pain.

"I'm sorry". I said with my eyes closed tightly.

"You gone be sorry". He said angrily before he start punching me anywhere he could while I was balled up in a fetal position.

This went on for a good 15 minutes before he got tired.

"Get the f**k up and clean this mess up". He said before walking away.

Shaking violently I lay in the same spot unable to move from so much pain.

"ALYSSA GET THE f**k UP IM NOT PLAYING". He yelled from upstairs.

Pushing up from the floor slowly I groan in pain grabbing onto the table beside the door.

Finally standing I slowly walk to the kitchen grabbing the mop bucket and filling it with water. As the water was flowing into the bucket I see red spots falling into it.

Touching my nose I see a lot of blood on my hand.

Walking to the down stairs bathroom with my head held back I grab tissue and stick it my nose before going back into the kitchen and cutting the water off.

Taking the bucket out of the sink I hear the front door open and a females voice. Walking back to the front I see Damon and a girl standing there kissing.

"Is you gone clean or f*****g watch me". He asked staring at me.

Taking the mop out I drain some of the water before I started mopping.

"I'm going out I'll be back tonight". He said walking out of the door.

Dropping the mop I go over to the window as quickly as I can and watch as they get in the car and drive off.

Walking to the steps I climb them slowly before finally making it to the top. Going into our room I grab my suitcases out of the closet and start throwing things inside of them as fast as I could.

Taking the suitcases to the edge of the stairs I push them down before walking down myself.

Grabbing one I take it out to my car putting it inside before going to get the rest.

Once I was done I get I the car and pull off.

Maybe this time he won't find me...
