Juniper POV
"So, sis, I hear you have these Alpha twins constantly rushing after you. Do you have any idea how worried Mother is that you'll become such a nuisance to them that they'll reject you?"
"I told her that I wasn't going to just blindly accept them."
"Yes, and her response was to pretty much shove you in the car and warn you that this was your new home, whether you liked it or not."
"Most mothers would love having their daughters remain with them," I sulked, "mine practically threw me out the door with suitcases and barely a goodbye."
Calean snorted.
"To be fair, she saw the Alpha twins and thought they might be able to keep you in line," he sighed, a small smile curved on his lips, "I, on the other hand, knew better."
He ruffled my hair, and I dodged, swearing at him.
