Everyone’s faces were bright with laughter as jokes flew across the room. Even Lucian’s rare smile made an appearance, and the air buzzed with a kind of warmth I hadn’t felt in ages.
“I think we should organize a party to celebrate this get-together,” Aldric said, his grin wide.
