You might think that Vanessa and I planned all this but no, we didn't. In fact I was just as surprised as Nadia.
She had mentioned the party to me earlier but she didn't tell me her intentions to make Nadia and me attend it alone. And about locking us in an enclosed space? I was still wondering why she did that.
I sat on the bed, “Come on, join me.” I said to Nadia, tapping the mattress beside me. “There's nothing we can do at this point but wait till she unlocks us.”
She heaved a sigh and walked to join me on the bed.
“How are you feeling?”
“Exhausted!” she said, rubbing her temples. “I need to get some sleep,” she said with a groan, hitting her fist against the bed. “I wonder what the hell is wrong with Vanessa,”
