I kept feeling like something bad was going to happen and I can feel it deep in my heart and something was telling me that I had to go back to Hella’s home, and I got up right away and Luca and Genevieve got up right away and followed me. Luca asked what was going on and I told him that I feel like something bad is going to happen and I needed to get to Hella’s home now. When we got there, I immediately smelled her scent and another scent hit me as well and I looked at Luca and he smelled it as well and he was raging just as much as I was. Genevieve suddenly said what is that scent that I smell we both looked at her in shock and Luca said that you can smell it and she said yes that it smells like citrus and spices. No human has ever been able to smell a succubus and the fact that she just did that is something that we cannot understand.

Luca used his telepathy and asked what does this mean? I told him that I don’t know but we are going to have to do research when we have a chance. He told me that maybe it could be because she was virgin and he spilled her blood? I looked at him in shock at what he told me, but I could not give him the answers that he wanted. I told him that he better not hurt her or else he would face my wrath as well. She was a good girl and he smiled and said that he loved her. I was happy to hear that, and I told him that she would need to know soon what we are in order for her to be okay with him. I followed Hella’s scent into her room and I saw the clothes that she had brought from Mark’s house I could still smell his scent all over them I lifted them up and a piece of paper fell out of the clothes. I picked it up and I read what the letter said…  

My Dearest Beloved One,

If you are reading this then I am truly sorry for leaving, I thought that you did not want me because I was tainted and dirty with that human’s filth and how he branded my skin. I love you and have loved you from afar and I am sad that we did not even have the chance to be with one another as I know we would have been happy. I am glad that I at least got to know that you are my mate and I could have not asked for a better mate. I hope that you make that son of a b***h pay for what he did to me.

I have been under the radar for so many years and I was sent here by our oracle telling me that I had to find my mate here on earth and that once I did then I can come back to my realm and rule the underworld with my king beside me. Tears began to fall from my eyes, and I walked out of Hella’s room and I staggered and fell to my knees and I began to sob uncontrollably. Luca walked forward to me right away and asked what happened Xavier, what’s wrong he had never seen me cry in all my years. He picked up the letter and he growled loud and Genevieve screamed in fear and she asked what happened and she went to Luca and he told her that Hella is going to die and she broke down crying in his arms. This could not be happening and Hella must be a fool if she thought that I was going to let my mate die, if she goes then so do I. I will not let her go alone not in this realm or the next. Luca looked at Genevieve and he told her that he needs to talk to her, and she said okay and he took her to Hella’s room, and he left me to try and process everything that is happening. I wanted to kill Mark all over again already and I wished that he was here in front of me if it wasn’t for him Hella would not be in this position and she would be happy with me and not facing death right now. I felt like a bastard for not being there for her when she needed me most and for letting her think that I was disgusted with her. I love her so much and now I hope that I will get a chance to at least show her and tell her one last time. I will kill anyone who dares to harm my mate.

After a while Luca emerges with a sorrowful face and awhile later Genevieve walks out pale and tears streaked down her face. I begin to feel bad for my friend and I know that he is hurting. I wished that he could find his happiness and I had hoped this could have been it. He looks back at her and begins to walk towards the door and Genevieve calls out to him and tells him to wait and she walks up to him and tells him that she is sorry, but she does not care what he is. If she must go to hell just to be with him then that is what she will do. The smile that broke out on Luca’s face was enough to even give me hope for my happy ending as well. He picked her up and kissed her hard and said then let’s go to hell my beloved one. Luca found the things that we needed to open a portal to go to back home to hell so that I could get my mate back.
