“He was the one that set the fire.” Morgan revealed.
The room spun like a hundred times in a row. I gripped the edge of the desk, my nails digging into the wood.
“No that doesn't make any sense at all, Samuel is loyal to Noah. He has always been loyal. He wouldn't–he couldn't–”
“He didn't have a choice.” Morgan cut in, his voice heavy.
“What do you mean he didn't have a choice? Was he forced?” It almost came out sarcastically as a tear rolled down my cheeks.
“Natasha forced him, she held his wife and unborn child hostage. So it would make her record clear. He only did it to protect them.” Morgan said.
“But he could have come to me or to Noah at that. We would have done something about it.” I said.
