Graduation Day...finally

1 months later – Graduation day

I had done about four cases since being home, I loved my job and now with my qualifications as I was able to be even more badass then I already was. I hadn’t spoken to mystery man for a month I needed no man in my life but my siblings for away detox it was great, being free to do whatever I wanted to do without worrying about what’s going on around me and diving into my job is exactly what I needed. “Ulric were you able to get those documents from the city council for me yet?” I turn and look at him “Oh s**t yeah I’ll grab them now I left them in my car” I nod letting him off the hook before I go back to doing some final touches on this job for my client he comes running back in “Here E” I take them from him “Thank you” I finish with sending these off “Done, ok well I know Tanya is here so I have to go get ready now for Graduation I’ll see you there” I smile “Of course Erica wouldn’t miss it for the world” I walked away and met Tanya up in my room.

As I slide into my white figure-hugging pencil skirt, I run my hands over the fabric feeling my body beneath it looking at myself feeling like this day would never have come, I grab my silky red spaghetti strap blouse. I slide into it perfectly, and smile at myself in the mirror with beautiful white teeth and red lipstick covering my naturally plump lips “So Tanya, what do you think?” my long time best friend is standing next to me, her expression is priceless “Where the hell have you put my Erica!” she gives me an elevator look and smiling “My god how can you go from being beautiful to damn right outrageously beautiful I just don’t get how you can become this” her hands waving around in the air like she’s trying to swat flies.

“Hahaha you’re so funny Tanya, I don’t think I’ve changed that much in like 2 weeks since I saw you last” I spin towards her and pull her into a hug “today is the day we finally graduate and say goodbye to anymore classes and study halls, and I’m so glad that the schools made our graduation ceremony at the same time like what is with that!” I turn back to my mirror in my bathroom, Tanya grabs my curling iron to curl my long red mane.

I wrap my hands around Tanya’s waist as we look at each other once I finished doing her hair, I look into her eyes and a glint of mischief springs to life “sooooo you are coming to the after graduation party right?” I was playing coy and already knew her answer. Tanya laughed “Do you think I would ever ever ever miss a Von Renouf after party!!” you hug each other before hearing your brother Ragnor call out “Do you seriously want to be late, like come on our parents will kill us well mainly you Erica but me as well if you don’t get your ass down here for f**k sake” Your brothers Swedish accent is still so thick even though you’ve lived in the states for 10years, “We are coming now Ragnor!”.

I take hold of Tanya’s hand, and it reminds you of when you first met… I was a new exchange student from Sweden and she took my hand and proceed to say “We will be best friends, I just know it!!” and ever since then our relationship with Tanya has blossomed, i think of each other as sister’s not just best friends. We stride down the stairs and i can see my brother looking over Tanya’s petite form, her skin tight black dress with slits on either side going up her thighs her long blonde hair straight and down to her waist like mine. I watch them behind my aviator sunglasses and smirk “when in Odin’s name will you two get a room already, I can smell the s*x pouring out of your pores!!” they look at me and laugh and in unison say “not a chance that will happen” I roll my eyes and mutter “for f**k sake….”

We walk out the door to our ride that Ragnor is driving, “Oh my Odin is that our 1970 Chevelle?” I love cars so I know I am asking him that he already knows I know. Ragnor slides his shades up and smirks “Just get in the car” we slide into the back of the sleek black car, Ragnor shut the door once he pushed the seat back. He walks round and jumps in, he adjusts the mirror and looks at us. He flashes us a brilliant white toothed smile “Ready?” he asks, we smile flashy white teeth back “Spin them” we say in unison.

Ragnor spins the wheels and leaves tyre marks by the front door, “oh mum’s going to kill you” I reach out and touch his shoulder “I’d say you could get away with it but there is security camera’s everywhere and well she was prob…” I get cut off by my phone “great Ragnor it’s her…” “Hi mum… yes we’ve left we aren’t far… No we aren’t just driving out the driveway….fine yes we are Ragnor is driving we will be there soon… yes mum soon” I hung up and let out a breath “thank god that was about us being late hahaha” Ragnor puts on some music pumping bass and I lean back letting the vibration through my body, from the subwoofers.

We skid to a stop and almost fling forward “RAGNOR!!” we yell “Get out of the car, look” he points at our mother “She’s waiting holding both your gown’s” I groan “ f*****g hell” we slip out from the back of the car and dash over to my adoptive mother, she was wearing her knee length pencil dress which is black with pinstripes, “Girls hurry up your almost up” we slip into our graduation gowns and jump into the last row of students. As soon as I sit my name is called “Erica Von Renouf please come up,” I slink out from the row of students and walk up the carpeted area, I walk slowly like a predator stalking its prey. I hear a few wolf calls and I just smirk and keep my head held high, once I reach the top of the stairs I shake the headmasters hand and smile “Thank you sir” he response to me by saying “congratulations on successfully graduating Miss Von Renouf” I take the scroll and look out to the year level and howl and as the rest of the school howl I smile and walk off the stage and back to my seat.

We proceed to mingle and celebrate with our parents and other students, at the college grounds. I take off my gown and can feel all the eyes upon my body they roam over every inch, I look at my friends and everyone else that are staring and I begin to laugh “God you would think I was naked by the way your all looking at me” I run my hands through my red locks and smile “Tid att fest folk, time to party people” I start to walk out of the marque, with all the students human and fae follow me out to the parking lot, “Oh my dear brother, let’s get the hell out of this boring hell whole, but my turn to drive” I slip out of my stilettos and swing them over my shoulder holding them with my finger as I walk around to the driver’s side, Ragnor tosses me the keys as I open the door, Tanya jumps in the back with Ragnor, followed by Revna, Ulric and Lucas who are my brothers and sister we are adopted and a force to be reckoned with.
