There is a wraparound veranda on the ground floor, which is much larger than an average veranda, there are multiple sections which chairs hammocks and hide away nooks, with hanging egg chairs and a built in kitchen for bbq’s with a large wood oven. Along the roof there are multiple gas heaters for the colder months. From the centre of the mansion you will walk down 6 wooden steps that take you out looking over a large swimming pool, which looks like it belongs in the wilderness that has a natural waterfall that has a well-hidden water slide, and if you swim underneath the water you will find a well-hidden cave for a secrete moment. There is another part of the pool that has a small edge where there is deck chairs that has water flowing from beneath the chairs to overlook the pool the pool has two levels and the second level can be access from the first pool by swimming under the water through a short tunnel or over the side which ends up being like a small water slide. This is then a natural hot spring which filters the water from the top pool, you can lay and relax in this one as it has natural hot jets of water that feels like it is massaging your body. The lay out around the pool is made from dark granite stone pavers, up one end of the pool there is a pool house close by that is another self-contained unit. And at the top of the pool is another side piece of pool which is a hot tub, which is sheltered by beautiful rock and greenery making it a prefect romantic area.

We walk out the back veranda door and head down to the drive way you will find from the other side another veering off to the right a fair ways down you will come across a large American style barn made from beautiful oak, the large barn doors slide out  you will look upon beautiful granite flooring within the stalls, the stalls have beautifully laid out wood shavings, with athletic horses in the 14 stables. At the end of stables you will find the tack rooms and the end of the stables another set of barn doors, on either side there are two tack rooms, one is for saddlery with saddles and bridles with saddle clothes, the other one has all used clean rugs, halters and any Knick knacks, along the side of the tack rooms are two stairs they run up to a mezzanine floor made from oak the floor is beautifully handcrafted, above in the mezzanine is bales of hay, bags of feed and new rugs in bags ready to be used. While you look around you will also see an office on the other side of the barn, for trainers, staff, and the family to use. With a self-contained unit, a concealed bedroom with a small kitchen, bathroom and walk-in wardrobe which is fully equipped with clothes for males and females.

Revna organized someone to have our two horses saddled up “Let’s go to our cross country course haven’t done that in awhile you’ll be ok with that Revna?” I ask her as we head out of the stables “Yeah I’ve been practising I’m getting much better E” we trot off till we hit the soft sand path to the cross country course which is about a twenty minute ride, “Ok I’ll let you go first Rei and then you’ll have three jumps in front” she nods “Come on Thor” and off she goes, I watch her feeling like the proud big sister her horse is a big beautiful chocolate coloured warmblood they are amazing creatures, I get Nordix ready his a big beautiful Friesian, completely black his mane and tail long and beautiful with feather around his hooves like Clydesdales, I run my hand up and down his neck “your ready my beautiful” he rears, making me laugh and as his front feet hit back to the ground I push him on we tackle the jumps with ease. I see Revna up a head so we slow down to a stop, I can feel someone watching me… us I’m not sure which I look around I can’t see anyone “is someone there?” I call out, but nothing not even a twig snap ‘your losing it E get a grip…. That last case, it must still have me paranoid’ I push on Nordix and we continue on the course till we catch up to Revna and Thor, after her last jump we caught up and over took her much to her disgust “Come on!!!” I laugh and we keep going we were only faster as we had more confidence and less fear of falling off.

After an hour or so we head down to the lake which backs onto our house and jetty, we take the boys in for a swim getting all wet ourselves “I love when your home  E, everyone is always to busy to do things like this…” our horses standing side by side before we leave the lake I lean over and hug her “I know little one, I’m home now.. unless I’m working, you know you should invite your friends over we can make pizza’s and we have the games room or the pool you can all hang out on I’m happy to babysit you all tonight…one condition no one drinks without me knowing about it… they can all stay the night too” she smiles and claps “Oh my go—Odin that would be so awesome!!” we turn away from the lake “Come on I’ll race you home” we take off racing back home I let Revna win, while I also took in the surroundings that feeling of being watched again. We get back to the stables and untack our horses and clean them up before turning the out to the paddocks for the remainder of the day, we run back to the house “Hahaha draw, … ok now go organise your friends and I’ll organise the food” we walk off in different directions, I go to the kitchen and check to see if we will have the ingredients to make homemade pizzas, I write down and a list and call one of kitchen workers “I’ve got the list in our main kitchen can you go down and grab these while also picking up snacks too please, thank you Henry” as I hang up the phone someone grabs me from behind, I stomp my foot and elbow their gut before spinning around to kick their balls I stop “Oh s**t I’m so sorry Dim!” I move towards him but he puts out his hand before I can get to him “It’s ok I shouldn’t of done that, I know what happened on the last case… Ragnor filled me in last night” he stands and I give him a hug “still home is the safest place to be…” my head rest on his chest “Why are you all wet? Can you get off this is like a thousand dollar shirt…for fucksake Erica” he asks as he peels me off, he raises a brow at me “went riding with Rei and we took them in lake afterwards… sorry” I walk past him a nerve being hit ‘seriously it’s a f*****g shirt’ I left him in the kitchen as I walked up to my room shutting the door and locking it.
