I wake early in the morning finding myself being pulled in tight against Dimitri’s body, I slowly pry myself out from his grip I pause as he mumbles something I’m not quite sure what he said but he then loosens his grip and rolls onto his back. I didn’t notice that I had been holding my breath till then, I get out of bed and check the time “5.30am, Nordix is going to love me” I dash into my wardrobe and change into my jodhpurs, polo shirt and long black riding boots, I braid my hair into the two French braids. I walk out of my room and down the hallway to the stairs, you see bodies around the ground floor some naked and others not so. I sneak around not standing on them and slipping out through the front door running down the driveway to the right, I keep running for 5 minutes till I finally reach the barn. I push open one of the barn doors “Nordix my beautiful boy” I hear hooves moving towards his door a big black Friesian pops his head over his stall and whinny’s at me, I walk over to him and place my forehead against his and I rub his muzzle “ you ready to go do some work buddy” I walk past all the stables to the going to the first tack room on the left grabbing a saddle blanket, bridle and saddle. I walk back to Nordix and place the items on his stall door I go back and go into the tack room on the right hand side and grab some brushes, after brushing him down and saddling him up I walk him out of his stable and get enough momentum to swing up and into the saddle.  We walk out into the crisp morning air “alright let’s start to get to work” I push him on staying undercover of the walk away from the barn to the indoor arena. I work him for a few hours before taking him to the horse pool I untack him and walk him into the pool letting him swim around. Walking back to the tack room with the items used I pack it away my back is to the open door of the tack room when I hear footsteps coming up towards me, “Erica where were you last night??” I smile and turn around to face Tanya I pull her close to me “I should be asking you that question hmm” I grin winking at her, she blushes “Oh you did get lucky” I laugh at her and she then gave a scrunched up look at me “Well I couldn’t help it you know all these damn hot men around here” she laughs at herself now. I finish cleaning up my area and walk back out to Nordix who was doing his swimming “So do I know the lucky contender?” I ask playfully, she nibbles at her nails “yes…” she whispers. I raise a brow “A bit vague no?” I say gently, she tilts her head to the side “Ok… Ragnor” I laugh “Well thank Odin, it’s about time that happened… You two having been playing the fishing game waaaay to long now” she swats at my arm; I push her in the pool it kind of worked till she pulled me with her. We laugh together as we break the surface “My god Erica” she swims over the edge and climbs out I grab onto Nordix as he comes back around I ride him out of the horse pool, with no reins or lead rope I extend my hand out to Tanya “Come on” she grabs my hand and help her to get up onto the back with me “Hold on to me remember” she nods “Of course” I make a kissing sound and Nordix takes off, I use my legs to direct him towards the house I see Ragnor and Dimitri standing out on the veranda talking till they hear horse hooves cantering towards them, they turn their heads looking at the three of us. Their eyes widen when they notice I have no way of controlling him, we get closer and I pull back on his mane “wooow Nordix good boy” I say gently, I lean into Tanya who then leans back also so Nordix skids to a stop right in front of the stairs where they were standing “Are you f*****g crazy?!” Ragnor and Dimitri say in unison, I help Tanya down I ignore them “Tanya you can wear something of mine if you don’t have anything that you can wear” I smile down at her from Nordix’s back “Thanks Erica” she smiles before standing back “No I’m not crazy I just know what I’m doing…” I deadpanned and push Nordix on getting him into a canter again, I flip them the bird as a I put both of my arms up feeling like I’m flying I do this for a little longer before taking him over to his paddock for grazing. I jump down giving Nordix a kiss on his nose “Good boy” I whisper while rubbing his mouth, I walk away going out the gate “gå på Nordix” (Go on Nordix) he takes off neighing out to the other horses.

I walk back to the house and see Ragnor and Dimitri, I keep my view down ‘if I don’t acknowledge his there he might not talk to me’ I get to the steps “Erica how was your ride?” I look up at Dimitri and nod “Good” I walk passed him “That’s good then, did you want a coffee?” he asks nicely “No” he sighs “Erica really come on… what about last night…” he sounds annoyed but hurt too, I stop and slowly turn around they both took a step back I walk towards Dimitri “What else did I say last night hmm??” I snap “Or did you just f*****g forget that part, thinking with your d**k again” I poke him in the chest now “I’m cold wet now hungry and I have to get ready for work… oh anything else …wait yes cheating liar!” the look on his face was like I had slapped him, I turned around and storm to my room locking the door behind me taking the key out and stuffing the lock with my ripped bathers that is still near the door “None of you are getting in…” I walk over to my sound bar, turning it on loud I put some heavy bass music. So, after having a shower, drying hair, makeup and getting dressed, I am wearing black leather pants and a black lace corset I look the eyes doing up the corset I have knee high boots with laces up the middle but have a Dr. Marten boots, I slip my gun holster on and my belt for my throwing blades and a hunter blade I grab my black leather jacket on. I turn the music off with banging coming through the door, I roll my eyes walking over with the key I pull the fabric out and slip the key in unlocking it, I look at the large male in my door way “What?” I growl, I move passed him and start for the stairs Dimitri grabs my wrist “Erica we need to talk…” I sigh “Not right now, I’m in the middle of a case I lost a day yesterday, so I have to catch up…. Maybe I will have time tonight… I can’t now” I try reasoning without fighting I was getting tired of it.

He sighs softly “Tonight then” he pulls me close I place a hand onto his chest his white singlet and jeans looked really good on him right now “I’ll try…” he places a finger under my chin tilting my head up to his he leans down and kisses me softly, I kiss him back pushing against him sliding my tongue into his mouth rubbing his tongue I hear him moan and his instant hardon ‘c**k tease’ I think to myself before pulling back I walk away down to my office.

I begin going through the paperwork and surveillance from the day before, I play some music to kill the silence. I find what Revna wanted to ask me about, “Hmm ok that’s weird” I watch the footage repeatedly till I finally see the inconsistency “f**k, Fuckety f**k!” I pull out my phone dialling a number “Revna get your ass down here I don’t care if you not dressed…” I hang up without waiting for an answer she finally runs in with sweatpants and a crop top, I turn to her “This is what you were going to show me?” I point to the video, she shakes her head “No these, but that explains why we weren’t seeing them leaving…” she sighs “I’m sorry I didn’t realize” I stand and hug her “Your still learning Revna its ok” I turn around and lean forward “Ok I’m going to try and find out how they got the loop and I’ll fix it, I need you to go get Lucas or Ulrik to go with you and stake out “Just for a couple of hours till I can get down there” she nods “Ok but we can stay for however long?” I shook my head “No I need you here afterwards you’re going to be my eyes for places I can’t see then.” I tell her she nods and walks off to do as I have asked her.
