Riley tossed to the right. Punched his pillow. Snuggled in. Took a deep breath. And slowly gave himself over to blissful sleep. Give me one month to convince you, came Easton’s voice, like a distant echo in his ears. His eyes flew open and he rolled onto his back, punching the mattress with an “ugh!” Brow puckered, he repeated the process. He tossed to the left. Punched his pillow, twice for good measure.
