“Easy for us to say, but how?” Teiko asked.

“You want my help?” Saki asked.

“No,” Teiko said.

“But I wouldn’t overpower that monster, I’ll surely win but not how I won against any previous enemy that I encounter,” Saki said.

“You mean you’ll have a hard time dealing with this, Saki?” Akeiko asked.

“I’m not sure, I’m certain that it wouldn’t be easy though,” Saki said.

“Then it’s great to hear that, if we will be able to defeat this, then we’ll have a chance to stand on the same ground as the demigods,” Teiko said.

“Right!” Silica said.

Saryx growled.

“Seems we’re all ready! This time, we’ll attack our opponent from a different side. You’ll be on your own so take care of yourselves, due to its large size, we might not be able to see each other,” Teiko said.

Everyone of them separated and got a greater view of the Xenocanthus.

“I’m wrong! It really looks like an eel, I couldn’t see it’s whole body since the head can be seen as he engages us. And this is only how high I could fly, I can sense that the gravity above me differs too much,” Teiko said.

“See, I told you it’s an eel. Just cook it, alright?” Saki said.

“And why the hell are you with me?” Teiko asked.

“Hmp! Then I’ll just go to Akeiko-nee. Don’t you dare die, stupide Teiko-nii,” Saki said.

Saki flew to Akeiko’s direction.

Water type magic, huh? We don’t know what kind of attack Xenocanthus has but I think everyone could survive it since we are all agile. Teiko thought.

The Xenocanthus started roaring.

What is it doing? Teiko asked himself.

Five big whirlpools were created in the great river.

If whirlpools are being created, then the water in the river is being sucked out, right? But is it going? Teiko thought.

Five voids are being created in front of each of them.

What? That’s a dimensional thing right? What’s happening? Teiko thought.

After just a second of the voids being created, big spears of water come from it.

All of them dodges the water spears that are coming from it. But Silica wasn't able to dodge everything. She was hit in the shoulder, side, and legs.

“Saki, go to Silica instead of Akeiko,” Teiko shouted.

Saryx was able to fly away from the void so she was able to dodge everything even with her large size.

“This is not normal, I’m sensing that this monster is using magic. It’s different from my dimensional s***h, I’m only borrowing the power of the dimensional storage when I’m using it, but this one is doing it in his own will as if it was really his magic,” Teiko said.

Wait, does this mean that it doesn't have water type magic but instead a dimension magic. People are just confused since it uses the water that surrounds it as ammunition for his attack. Teiko thought.

The Xenocanthus started moving down the river.

Is it escaping? There’s no way, right? We didn’t do anything to threaten it, we only managed to dodge. Does it think that if we’re able to dodge one of his decisive attacks it means that we can beat it? Wait? So we can beat it! Teiko thought.

After a minute when the Xenocanthus was able to submerged its huge body, a big shadow was casted throughout the area, it turned darker.

“Is it because of its skill? Dark type magic?” Teiko asked.

“Teiko, look above us!” Akeiko shouted.

“No way!” Teiko exclaimed.

As Teiko looked up, he saw the silhouette of the Xenocanthus.

It moves through the dimension and sends itself up in the air where the gravity is much stronger. Meaning, it will be here and will eat us in an instant. Is it finished? I have to do something, at least make sure everyone is not eaten by this huge monster. Teiko thought.

《Circular Blast》

 A new skill that I was trying to learn. It’s more like a defensive skill but at least I can somewhat save them. Teiko thought.

From Teiko’s circular movement using his sword, a circular shockwave was created from him and went outward and reached everyone. It pushes them in a safe distance wherein the Xenocanthus wouldn’t reach them.

“What is this? A shockwave? It’s pushing us away from Teiko,” Silica said.

“Yup, it’s a skill that he’s practicing the day he discovered that he can use a shockwave, it would send his target away from him but no damage will be dealt. I’ve never thought that he could finish it and made it so that it will come from all direction,” Saki said,

“Wait, does this mean that he couldn’t escape this?” Silica asked.

Now, for my escape. Teiko thought.

The Xenocanthus appeared right above Teiko.

No, it’s very fast. It used gravity to make it look like it’s instantly here. This great river is really his own territory, it knows how to use every feature of this river. At least I was able to save everyone. I hope they will finish the goal of the Abysmal Bane Party. Thank you for spending time with me, everyone. Teiko thought.

“Teiko!” Akeiko shouted.

《Fire Beam》

“It’s effective? I can see that I wounded the side of the Xenocanthus,” Akeiko said.

Silica and Saki flew closer to Akeiko.

“But what should we do? Teiko was eaten by the eel shark!” Silica said.

“Is there a chance that he is still alive inside of it?” Akeiko asked.

“I don’t know, I didn't say this since I thought it was not important information but according to the myth, the inside of the Xenocanthus is so acidic that it can disintegrate anything inside of it. It doesn’t say how long the process is, but I hope that it’s not the case or else, Teiko wouldn’t make it,” Silica said.

“If he’s alive inside, we should be careful since Teiko is inside of it,” Akeiko said.

“Saki, I think you should help us with this one, Akeiko and I wouldn’t be enough against this creature,” Silica said.

“And we’re still not considering the army of sharks that follows the Xenocanthus, they are here already,” Akeiko said.

“Okay, this time, I’ll join the battle. Don’t be too slow since I will try my best to defeat it as fast as I can,” Saki said.
