This place really is so beautiful and peaceful, but I should become stronger and help everybody that needs help. Teiko thought to himself.
“What a let down,” Teiko said.
“Brother? Why are you still saying that and why do you still look sad?” Taiya asked.
“Ahm, no. It’s nothing. I understand, don't worry,” Teiko replied.
I don’t want to leave Taiya here, but I don’t want to get her in any danger. Teiko thought to himself.
“Hearing that means you have decided, right?” Taiya asked.
“Saki?” Teiko said.
“Saki?” Taiya asked.
“Oops, you made a mistake, brother,” Saki said.
“I mean, sorry! What did you say?” Teiko asked.
“Nothing, let’s just enjoy this day together, alright?” Taiya said.
“Okay, anything for you, Taiya,” Teiko replied.
I don’t want to tell this to Taiya since I’m sure she will either stop me or join me. Teiko thought to himself.
“That will surely happen, your sister loves you so much. Anyway, what did you call me for?” Saki said.
“Saki, I already made my choice. I will unleash my power but I have some concerns,” Teiko said.
“That’s good to hear, Teiko-nii. So what is that concern?” Saki said.
“Teiko-nii? What was that?” Teiko said.
“Is that your concern? I'll just bring that up! I want to call you that way since your little sister is already calling you brother,” Saki said.
“Just do whatever you want. But that’s not what I’m talking about. If I have to release my power, this will only endanger the people here, right? So let’s go outside already,” Teiko said.
“Why? Don’t you want to spend some time here first? Like one to two years before doing that,” Saki said.
“Hmm, I want to be strong as soon as possible. And to do that, I have to unleash my power, right?” Teiko said.
“It’s true, you need to do that. But unleashing it in an instant would probably kill you,” Saki said.
“What?! Then why did you even let me choose between unleashing my power or just staying as what I am right now?” Teiko asked.
“I said that there is a consequence yesterday, right?” Saki said.
“But I never considered that the consequence was my life. Then this is really impossible,” Teiko said.
“Don’t worry, we will not unleash it in an instant. Even with my power, if that power bursts, I will not survive unscathed. We will remove the seal little by little,” Saki said.
“Oh! Why didn’t you say that earlier? That the best option, that means that I could still stay here even if I’m unleashing my power,” Teiko said.
“Actually, that option is much worse. If I’m in your shoes and decided to unleash that power, I would choose to gamble my life to release it instantly rather than to release it little by little,” Saki said.
“I don’t understand, why will you do it that way?” Teiko asked.
“First, you have a vast amount of power. Second, you could only unleash your power up to five percent at a time. Meaning you have to do it at a minimum of twenty times. Finally, doing it that way will hurt you in a very extreme way you can’t even imagine,” Saki said.
“I mean, that’s better than a gamble, right? I’ll choose that thing over having me and my surrounding turn into ashes,” Teiko replied.
“Alright, it’s your choice after all. Just don’t blame me, Teiko-nii. We’ll start that thing tomorrow, just first enjoy this day to the fullest since I know that you won't enjoy the coming days,” Saki said.
“Don’t worry about that, I’ve come prepared,” Teiko said.
“Teiko, Taiya. Let me guide both of you to your new home,” the village chief said.
“Really? Will we have our own house even if there's just the two of us?” Taiya asked.
The other villagers overheard their conversation.
“Taiya, I will help build your house. I hope that you like it,” one of the villagers said.
One after another, the villagers said that they helped in the construction for the Akitsko house.
“Yes, Taiya. Everyone looks forward to constructing the house where the family of their savior will live. So I hope that both of you will accept it no matter what appearance it turns out to be,” the village chief said.
“Yes, village chief. I promise that whatever it is, we will accept it. Right, brother?” Taiya said.
“Yes, we will do that, village chief,” Teiko said.
The village chief guides Taiya and Teiko to their new house. They easily got there since it’s near the center of the village and the roads are well built.
“Here it is, Teiko and Taiya,” the village said as they stop in front of a big house.
The house is very different from other houses. It’s almost doubled the size of the others. Every part of the house is very detailed and it also has a sauna, hot spring and even a viewing deck.
“Ahm, village chief?” Taiya said.
“Yes,” the village chief answered.
“I’ve never thought that when you said that whatever it’s appearance is, we should accept it, I never imagined that it would be so large and so beautiful like this. No way, we will never accept something like this for just the two of us. It’s too much!” Taiya exclaimed.
“But both of you promised that you’ll accept it. So you have no choice. Anyway, I have something to do so here’s the key and just explore your house. Hope you like it,” the village chief said upon handing the key to Taiya.
The village chief runs as fast as he could so the two wouldn’t decline the offer.
“Liking this thing is an understatement. How could they have given us something special like this?” Taiya asked.
“We promised that we’ll accept it. Let’s just see the place for ourselves. I knew that they do this as appreciation for mom and dad so we have to at least accept their thanksgiving,” Teiko replied.
“I understand, then let’s go!” Taiya said.
Taiya pulled Teiko inside the new house.
“Hey, even if you’re my brother, you can’t do something lewd to me even if we’re all alone here, alright?” Taiya said.
“Why would I even think about that?! And being a brother is not even a reason to do something like that?!” Teiko exclaimed.
“I’m just teasing you, brother. Your reaction is very funny,” Taiya said.
They end up exploring the house and accepting it as theirs. The village continued their celebration throughout the day.
