After some time, Dalton announced that they will start the matches.

“Okay, everyone! Since Teiko is so close to beating me last time, I’ll let him have the first match,” Dalton said.

“Thank you very much, sensei,” Teikos said.

I already know all of his skills and his patterns, I just need to do exactly what I practiced. But I should still be careful since he might still have something though it’s nearly impossible since Taiya already beat him. Teiko thought.

Both Teiko and Dalton put on their stance and let Taiya signal the start of the battle.

Sensei got the skill 《Quick Draw》where he could quickly unsheathe his sword then launch a sudden attack. But since he’s already holding his sword against me, then he’ll not do that.

“Start!” Taiya announced.

Dalton rushed towards Teiko and did not use any engagement skills. He uses the 《Triple s***h》with his wooden sword.

I didn’t think that he would use this method but I don’t need to worry, I could see the three slashes that he made and fend it all off. Teiko thought.

Dalton struck Teiko from below but didn’t manage to since Teiko backed off in an instant.

A skill I learned from watching Dalton-sensei, the 《Backward Dodge》. Teiko thought.

“I never thought that someone could master that by only watching me. I didn’t know that you really persevere to learn new things. I should have put a lot of effort into teaching all of my techniques,” Dalto said.

Dalton emits a blue aura. Teiko was shocked to see it again after two years.

Taiya and I didn’t encounter this aura again when we were practicing all of the emotions. Taiya is surely aware of it right now and assessing how to use it. I should leave it to her, all I need to do is to win this match. Teiko thought.

Dalton started his attack one after another and Teiko started to struggle.

This didn’t happen to Taiya but my wooden sword is getting heavier and heavier as he hits it. Teiko thought.

“Listen everyone, starting tomorrow. I’ll teach all of you everything I know even though you wouldn’t need much of it,” Dalton shouted.

Dalton backs off.

Why did he do that? I almost lost the match. Teiko thought.

“Here’s one thing to learn,” Dalton proclaimed.

Dalton struck his sword in the ground while holding it firmly.

“Asheolus, give me power and fuse with my sword,” Dalton chanted.

Dalton grabbed his sword and dragged it to Teiko’s direction.

Let the blade and the wind be in accord,” Dalton chanted.

A gust of wind is building up in Dalton’s sword.

“《Heaven’s Tempest》” Dalton chanted.

Dalton made an upward strike from the ground. Teiko blocks it but a stream of wind carries Teiko up in the air.

What happened? I’m in the air due to Dalton-sensei’s skill?” Teiko thought.

“That’s a skill to bring your opponent in mid air where he couldn’t dodge any of the strikes you throw but that skill doesn’t end there,” Dalton said.

Dalton jumps up in the air to engage Teiko. He moves in a flash that seems he could walk in air and gives a very quick continuous attack. However, Teiko manages every single one of them.

It is surely fast with a normal perception. But I’m different. Teiko thought.

“You are able to fend off all of my attacks? How is that even possible?” Dalton said.

After a month after I was defeated by sensei, I tried to make my progress faster. That’s why my perception becomes even faster than his attacks. I could easily defeat him but he’s also giving his all. I've never thought that he would use this kind of skill, but. Teiko thought.

“Your skill is over, right? Dalton-sensei. Since we’re both in mid-air, we’re both at a disadvantage after the duration of your skill,” Teiko said.

“《Crescent Strike》” Teiko chanted.

Teiko s***h his sword horizontally, making a crescent-shape shockwave that is visible with normal eyes. The shockwave strikes Dalton, making him fall to the ground. Before Dalton could stand up, Teiko put his sword on Dalton’s chest.

“I lost,” Dalton said.

Taiya runs towards Teiko.

“Brother, what was that? It seems so powerful! When did you learn that?” Taiya asked.

“Maybe it’s just sheer luck that he could use something like that,” Reto said.

Dalton stands up and laughs. He said, “I’m sorry everyone. Right after I proclaimed that I’ll teach you with everything I know, I ended up losing.”

"It’s alright, sensei! I also want to learn the skill you made and I’m sure that you still have many skills for us to learn,” Reto said.

“I did it!” Teiko said.

“Yup, you did. I wasn’t aware that you’re capable of doing that. But next time we fight, I’ll use everything against you,” Dalton said.

“Thank you, sensei,” Teiko replied.

“Why didn’t that bastard teach you everything right from the start? So? You’ll stay to learn more or you want to still go? I can’t teach you sword skills so you’ll be learning on your own when we go out” Saki asked.

“I already decided to go. My father learned the sword on his own and I think I could also do that. And just like I said, after my goal is complete, I’ll be leaving. This is my final match here,” Teiko replied.

“Anyway, congrats, brother!” Taiya said.

“Thank you, Taiya, do you want to take a stroll around the sanctuary after we are dismissed?” Teiko asked.

“Okay, we’ll do that!” Taiya replied.

Dalton dismissed the session. Teiko and Taiya walked around the sanctuary and went home afterwards.

“We finally got home! That’s tiring but still a wonderful thing to do. Aside from seeing scenery around, I’m able to spend quality time with you, brother. We should do this thing regularly,” Taiya said.

“Just clean up and rest if you’re really tired. Take care of yourself, Taiya,” Teiko said.

“Sure, sure. But why are you saying that, I’ll just take a bath, no need to worry,” Taiya said then went to the bathroom.

“You really don’t want to bring your sister? She’s also powerful so she could take care of herself even outside the sanctuary,” Saki said.

“I already hid a letter on sensei’s sword earlier and he will take care of Taiya. I also got a letter from the village chief. I know that they will take care of Taiya here in the sanctuary,” Teiko said.

“You’ve planned ahead, huh?” Saki said.

Midnight, everyone in the village is sleeping peacefully. Teiko started his move to go outside of the sanctuary.

“You’re sure that you can get me out of this sanctuary without the use of the key that the village chief used two year ago?” Teiko asked Saki.

“Don’t worry about that, I got this. This place really is beautiful, I’m leaving this place for you, Teiko-nii, better be thankful,” Saki replied.

“Yes, Saki. Don’t worry, let’s go!” Teiko said.
