“Okay, before we continue our journey. I will have to create my own dimensional storage first,” Teiko exclaimed.
“You’re very excited, Teiko-nii,” Saki said.
“Of course, this is a new thing for me,” Teiko replied.
Teiko put out all of the three items needed for the creation of dimensional storage.
“Okay, before I start, I want to tell you that you only got five shots at this. Make sure you do the best you can right at the beginning. We’re lucky finding these items but we might not be after we spend all of those luck,” Saki said.
“Okay, first of all. Why do I only have five shots? What will happen after I fail that many times?” Teiko asked.
“Simple, all of the items will vanish in thin air,” Saki said.
Teiko was shocked. He exclaimed, “What the hell? That’s why you said we might not find these items again. Then if I fail, that means that every effort I make will be for nothing.”
“Don’t say, Teiko. I think you can do it,” Akeiko cheered Teiko.
“Yup! If you fail at your third try, we’ll stop the creation and we’ll try to increase your aptitude in creative magic,” Saki said.
“Creation Magic? Wait, what is that? Why are you so bad at explaining things in a single explanation? You could have said all of that at the same time,” Teiko said.
“That’s fine. At least we have an interactive tutorial,” Saki said then winked at Teiko.
“Okay? Seems I have no choice, just tell me,” Teiko replied.
“Creation magic consists of four principles. These principles are: magic power that you have to release while doing the magic, imagination which you would use in making the image of the final item, the right materials to be used and lastly, the proper positioning of the materials,” Saki said.
“I already understand the first three, what about the position? What should I do with that?” Teiko asked.
“There’s an exact order and spacing between the materials used in Creation Magic. There are many people that studied those things, usually people from a rich family since it involves using a lot of materials. And a group of scholars needed at least two years to completely understand creating one item using the skill,” Saki explained.
“So I’m very lucky that I got you,” Teiko said.
“Wow, saying romantic words, huh? Anyway, I only knew some of those so don’t be too dependent on me when it comes to that magic,” Saki said.
“Hey, do you realize our age difference?” Teiko said.
Akeiko laughs at their conversation.
“Hmp! I’ll explain the position and spacing for the dimensional storage. The three items should be positioned in a triangular shape being the leaf of yggdrasil on top and having its petiole directly pointing upwards. Sacred emerald on the left in any position and finally the golden wolf fang with the pointy side pointing on the sacred emerald. You should be the one who will position this so you should ask if you don’t understand a thing,” Saki explained.
“Okay? How about the spacing?” Teiko asked.
“It does not matter how far, just make sure that they have equal distance between each other and not so near that they could touch one another,” Saki said.
“Then, for pouring my magic energy?” Teiko asked.
“Put your two hands above the materials and let magic flow through you just like how you did with your emotions. Just think that it’s mana and not emotion. Then finally, imagine how these items would turn into the final item that you wanted, it doesn’t matter how you will understand the process but make sure that it’s somewhat a legit way” Saki replied.
“Okay, so I’ll turn these items into a bracelet?” Teiko asked.
“Not specifically a bracelet, any accessories will do as long as you can keep it personally. You can even imagine it like a small treasure box, though I suggest making it something you can wear,” Saki said.
“Then let’s get this going,” Teiko declared.
Teiko seated and positioned the materials exactly how Saki explained it to her. Teiko started to let his mana flow and imagined the process of the Creation Magic. White light particles were being emitted by Teiko and the three items on the ground.
“Wow, that’s amazing. It’s my first time seeing something like this,” Akeiko said.
The light particles vanished.
“I failed,” Teiko said.
“Sorry, did I distract you?” Akeiko asked.
“Ah, no. It’s my fault, don't worry about that,” Teiko said.
“Wow, Teiko-nii is so caring,” Saki teased Teiko.
“You, don’t distract me during this process. I already wasted one of my chances,” Teiko replied.
“I’m not the one that talked during your process but I’m the one being scolded? Bad big brother,” Saki said.
I know this is just my fault. Maybe I’m not imagining the process properly. Teiko thought.
Teiko started the process again.
This time, I need to imagine things differently. The three materials turn into particles then gradually form into a bracelet. The magic I’m pouring would make the properties of Dimensional Storage. Teiko thought.
Teiko opened his eyes and realized he failed again. No one talked after the second process. Teiko took a deep breath and closed his eyes.
“Don’t worry, I could do this,” Teiko said.
Akeiko and Saki smiled at him, being confident that Teiko would really do it.
Alright. My mana would be the one that would handle the process and not the only one that would make the property of the dimensional storage. So first, I wanted to make it like a bracelet. Imagine the golden wolf fang being melted into its liquid form and forming into the body of the bracelet also forming clasps, hook and the centerpiece. Sacred emerald would be imbued at the centerpiece and then the leaf of yggdrasil in which its power is being extracted and being absorbed by the emerald. Finally, the power that resides in all the materials fused together with the mana I’m letting through. Then the final item is created. Teiko thought.
Teiko opened his eyes.
“I succeeded! I created the Dimensional Storage in the form of a bracelet,” Teiko exclaimed.
“Hey, Teiko-nii. You really imagine the same thing as what Akeiko-nee had. You’re so desperate that you wanted to have a couple bracelets with her,” Saki said.
Akeiko blushed. She said, “I don’t think Teiko has that kind of intention. Let’s just be glad that he succeeded. You’re really amazing Teiko.”
“Heard that Saki?” Teiko said.
“Hmp! Whatever, since we’re done with it, Creation Magic. Let’s go hunt something for our food,” Saki said.
“Yaaaay!” Akeiko exclaimed.
These girls are so excited, testing my new item will be done for later. Teiko thought.
