Teiko laughs. He said, “Sorry. But I’m very thankful to you that you come with me even though you find a comfortable home.”
“Of course, I already guide you on unleashing your power, I should see through your progress until the end,” Saki said.
“So, with Saryx on our side, how many months should it take us to go to the Hamori Mountain?” Teiko asked.
“You’re too excited for the Hero’s trial. I suggest that you should unlock at least 40 percent of your power before that thing happens. The time you need to have that power is more than the time we needed to go to the Hamori Mountain so I suggest that you go with the time and don’t hastily go to the Hero’s trial,” Saki said.
“Is that so? Then I’ll do that, everyone of us is just twelve years old and will turn thirteen in the next few months so we still have a lot of time in our hands,” Teiko said.
“Yup! You could enjoy the loving part of your life,” Saki said.
“Just as I said to them, I want to focus more on making myself stronger,” Teiko replied.
“Fine, do what you want. I’ll also be sleeping, okay? Don’t spend too much time, you also need your soul to rest,” Saki reminded Teiko.
Saki flew to the tent.
Tomorrow might become a different day than usual because of this. Teiko thought.
The night ended and the morning came. Teiko woke up first before everyone so he got time to cook breakfast for his party.
“Good morning, Teiko,” Akeiko greeted.
“Good morning, Teiko. Good morning, Akeiko,” Silica said.
Seems they didn’t change even after what happened yesterday. Teiko thought.
“Ohh! Good morning everyone! You guys are fighting which one of you would taste Teiko’s breakfast first?” Saki said.
“Hey, Saki. You should not tease both of them. Well, I don’t think that what you said will affect them,” Teiko said.
“Ohh, of course it’s gonna be me. Can you feed me, Teiko?” Silica said.
Aahhh.
Silica opens her mouth signaling Teiko to feed her.
Akeiko covers her mouth with her hand. She said, “It’s gonna be me, okay? Just shut your mouth already!”
“Eh? I thought what I said would not affect them?” Saki said.
“Stop doing that, you’re making fun of them,” Teiko said.
“Don’t fight over that thing, Saki is just making fun of the both of you. And also, Saryx already ate one of the breakfast that I cook so whatever you girls are competing, Saryx already won,” Teiko replied.
“Saryx, you traitor! I’m gonna have you fly for 100 laps until you become exhausted as punishment for getting Teiko’s first meal!” Silica said.
“That's bad behavior, don’t let Saryx suffer because you lost,” Akeiko said.
“Shut up, I’ll do what I want,” Silica said.
“Hey, hey. Stop that, don’t do something like that to Saryx,” Teiko said.
Silica changed her face from getting angry to making a smile for Teiko. She said, “Okay, if I say something like that, then I’ll not do it.”
“Both of you, listen. It’s okay if you do something like that during this time but don’t do it when we’re facing enemies. It would distract us from our goals,” Teiko said.
“Understood,” Akeiko and Silica said.
“This is yummy, you’re really the best cook, Teiko-nii!” Saki said.
Akeiko and Silica looked at Saki in anger since they still have not had their breakfast yet.
Teiko also started eating. He said, “If the two of you wouldn’t start eating, the food might be entirely gone in any moment.”
They all eat together and continue on their journey.
“So we just need to travel due East, right?” Teiko asked.
“Yup, we’ll just go straight until we stumble upon the great river of Mahiceo. Then we’ll need to locate the large bridge from either north or south of the river,” Saki said.
“And as we find that bridge, we’ll just have to continue straight east and we’ll see the Mountain of Giervogel,” Akeiko said.
“But it would take us six months, right?” Silica said.
“Yup, and we shouldn’t let Saryx do all the travel since she’s just new to this environment. She also doesn't want to get wet so she for sure would refuse to fly when it’s raining so we need to walk some of the days while traveling,” Teiko said.
“It’s fine, you guys do much when we still haven’t met Saryx so you don’t have to complain about this,” Saki said.
“We’re not complaining, Saki. We’re just discussing things again so it’s clear for all of us,” Teiko said.
“Okay, the first obstacle on our path would be the Mist Forest. Be careful everyone!” Saki said.
“Yup! Let’s clear it as fast as we can,” Teiko said.
They travel for weeks before they reach the mist forest.
“So the only thing that we need to do is to make sure that we’re going directly east and nothing more right?” Teiko asked.
“Yup, with my fire. I’ll be able to clear some of the mist around us so we’ll not be separated from each other. It’ll be hard if we lose one,” Akeiko said.
“Saryx is also sensitive to the mist so we have to make sure the water droplets from the mist would not get into her,” Silica said.
“So, Teiko and Saryx are the two that should be careful here since they don’t have anything to signal us like the fire and light that the three of us possessed,” Saki said.
“Yup, so I will hold Teiko’s hand,” Silica said.
“Nope, I’ll be the one doing it,” Akeiko said.
“Hey, the two of you, Teiko, have two hands so you could do it fairly,” Saki said.
“Hey you should be stopping them from doing it and not instigating them!” Teiko exclaimed.
“It’s alright, I’ll be the one riding this cute baby Saryx so we’ll not be lost in this forest,” Saki said.
Akeiko and Silica holds Teiko’s hands in different side.
“Guess this will work,” Teiko said.
After hours of walking they encountered a wild beast that lives in the Mist Forest.
“It’s the Behemoth!” Silica exclaimed.
“We couldn’t see it until we’re this close even though it's so big,” Teiko said.
“The mist hides all of his body, we’re very unlucky to meet the most dangerous monster in the Mist Forest,” Saki said.
