“They are monsters that are far more powerful than demigods but they don’t have the intelligence to rule other races like a Demigod could do. It only knows how to fight and how to destroy everything on its path,” Saki replied.

“You’re saying that there are six other monsters that are as powerful as this?” Akeiko asked.

“Yup, there is but it’s the first one to come out of the surface. They shouldn’t come up yet, maybe we really killed too many monsters from this river that we made it angry. Now it’s thinking that we’re just a plaything,” Saki said.

“So what will we do to save, Teiko?” Silica asked.

“Just believe in him! We just need to hold out here until he can find a way to escape the Xenocanthus. We let that thing go back to water until Teiko escapes or else he’ll just drown after escaping,” Saki said.

“If he couldn’t escape?” Akeiko asked.

“He surely will! Let’s trust in him, I’ll stay here until Teiko escapes!” Silica exclaimed.

“No, we wouldn’t. We’ll give him at least an hour to escape or I’ll force everyone to get out of this place,” Saki said.

“No, I’m agreeing with Silica! I’ll stay here until I take my last breath if Teiko doesn't come out!” Akeiko said.

“I promised to him that I’ll not let anyone die! I wouldn’t let you die in vain, an hour, that’s only how long we’ll be this monster’s plaything!” Saki said.

“Then you shouldn’t also not let him die!” Silica cried out.

“No, he didn’t include himself when he said that. Teiko-nii talked about that to me directly, and that saved everyone in this party even if he was a sacrifice,” Saki said.

“If that’s what it is, I’ll let all of my strength out to kill that freaking monster!” Silica said.

“We’ll back you up, we believe in you, Saki!” Akeiko said.

“But we really need to get rid of its army or else I wouldn’t stand a chance against the Xenocanthus,” Saki said.

They started fighting the army of sharks and were able to make some progress.

“We’re doing good,” Silica said.

“Saryx is still in good condition, jump on his back or your mana will be depleted. We’re winning since Xenocanthus is not making a move,” Saki said.

“I can only teleport the people that are within 5 meters near me. Teiko was too far away at that time so I couldn’t do it. This skill has a ten seconds cooldown so I wouldn’t be able to teleport us away in time even if I went near him,” Saki said.
