Teiko is fending off every attack done by the five king scorpions, from attack of it’s claws and its stinger. One of the scorpions was able to grab the Teiko sword.

I’m watching every other king scorpions’ claws and stinger and they wouldn’t be able to hit me with their position. Teiko thought.

However, one of the king scorpions secrete fluids from its mouth.

“What? They possess that kind of attack?” Teiko exclaimed.

The fluid hit Teiko’s body but his clothes didn’t melt. Even with how corrosive the fluid looks like.

My armor is safe but it still touches my skin, I’m pretty sure it poisons me since I felt a little different. But this proves how powerful my armor is, all thanks to Auntie Cecilia. Teiko thought.

“Should I heal you, Teiko-nii?” Saki said.

“No, this is nothing,” Teiko said.

This is okay since I determined where their weak points are. Teiko thought.

“Akeiko, Silica, aim for their mouths as they spit fluids. I’ll act as bait,” Teiko said.

“Okay!” Akeiko and Silica said.

One by one, they were able to defeat the scorpions.

I couldn’t avoid some of its poison attacks from its mouth since they are unpredictable, they even hit each other with it as if they couldn't control it themselves. Teiko thought.

“That’s such a teamwork for the three of you, should I heal you now with my Greater Salvation?” Saki asked.

“Let me hear what’s on the second level and the third level,” Teiko said.

“I’m sure you can endure that so let me do the explanation. The second level still has some monsters from the first level. The main monsters there are a bit different than usual. There are minotaurs, abomination rats and gargoyles. They are stronger than the monsters from the first level in terms of speed, strength and stamina but they don’t have poison skills like the monsters from the first level,” Saki explained.

“In third level, there would be no monsters from first level anymore and just few from second level. The only monster that is different there are the lesser dragons, there are only a few of them there,” Saki said.

“Dragons? They are intelligent beings, right?” Akeiko asked.

“Hmm, if you compare them to the dragons that I know, they are not. But overall, they have the intelligence of that of savage bears. They are not the same as the dragons that can take the form of human beings, the dragon we’re talking about are just like another monster for them> But they are still exceptionally good at battles. “So we have to fight dragons now,” Silica said.

“Not now, not even later or tomorrow, we have to travel for at least two days before we reach the third level,” Saki said.

“So we have to camp in this cave?” Akeiko asked.

“Yes, that’s not unavoidable. However, if we’ll be able to find a passage from level one to level two, we can safely camp there since no monsters are able to pass through them,” Saki answered.

“That’s good, let’s hurry up and find that passage,” Teiko said.

They battle against all of the species in that level and after hours of exploring the cave they found where one of the passages is located.

“Let’s camp here,” Teiko said.

“I didn’t expect that this passage would be this big, it’s the same size as the entrance. Why do monsters avoid this place?” Akeiko asked.

“The reason is because of the air here, it’s composed of a scent that monsters find disgusting. Humans and other intelligent beings don’t smell those scents so we’re not affected by it,” Saki explained.

“Teiko, are you not being affected by the poisons that you got?” Silica asked.

“I’m fine, don’t worry too much about me,” Teiko said.

“Mia gave us five antidotes, right? Why don’t we use that on you?” Akeiko suggested.

“It’s because we only got five that I’m still not using, we’ll rest here for six hours before we continue,” Teiko replied.

“Oh, six hours. The same as the cooldown of my Greater Salvation. It’s the reason, right, Teiko-nii? Saki said.

“Yup! Use that thing on me, Saki,” Teiko said.

Teiko’s wounds and poisons were all healed and cured.
