Silica’s mother served the tea to Akeiko and Teiko. Silica’s mother also sat with them.
“So where are we in the conversation? By the way, I’m Cecilia Aihara, nice meeting both of you,” Silica’s mother said.
“I’m Teiko Akitsko,” Teiko introduced.
“Oh, the same last name as our hero. I see, that’s why you look so familiar. You’re his son, right?” Cecilia said.
“Yes, Auntie Cecilia. I’m Toya Akitsko’s humble son, I hope I will not become a big deal here in your village,” Teiko said.
“I’m not sure with that, even the children here gave too much respect to the hero even though they weren’t able to witness what your father did,” Cecilia said.
Cecilia smiled then looked at Akeiko.
“And you are?” Cecilia asked.
“I’m Akeiko Dae,” Akeiko responded.
“So what’s the relation between the two of you,” Cecilia asked.
“Oh, that! Teiko saved me, then I decided to join his journey since I don’t have anywhere to go,” Akeiko said.
“I see, so you don’t have any intimate relationship with him?” Cecilia asked.
Akeiko blushed.
“Ah, no. We don’t have that kind of relationship, Auntie,” Teiko answered.
“That’s good to hear, my daughter is pretty, right?” Cecilia said.
Teiko was confused.
“Ahm, yes, Auntie. As beautiful as you!” Teiko said.
Cecilia laughed. She said, “You’re like your father. You’re unaware that you’re making someone fall in love.”
Teiko became more confused.
Akeiko also laughed. She said, “So you got something you’re bad at, huh?”
“Anyway, back to the conversation earlier. I’m teaching Silica but she’s a slow learner. No, that’s not the case, I think she does not want this kind of job. She’s more into joining the people that hunt for our food since she admires Toya so much,” Cecilia said.
“Oh, I know someone who’s also got a mind like that,” Saki said while looking suspiciously at Teiko.
“Hey, it’s normal since I’m his son, alright?” Teiko said.
“Wait, Auntie, since you can make some clothes, can I have some favor? Though it only adds to your workload,” Teiko said.
“It’s fine, I already finished my quote for the whole month. I’m only doing some spare dresses since I got nothing to do. And doing something for our hero’s son is an honor for me. What is your request?” Cecilia asked.
“We gather some wolf skin and we want to make it a material for our clothes since it's more sturdy than usual, it can be protection from cold and also can be an armor. Is that possible?” Teiko asked.
“Wolf’s skin? That’s a good but rare material, I’m amazed you got that with you. Hmm, but that’s complicated to weave although I can do something like that. However, I need at least 4 days to finish clothes for both of you,” Cecilia asked.
“Oh, I'll only stay here for a night so that means it’s not possible, right?” Akeiko said.
“Unfortunately, yes. But I got an idea, can we just trade our wolf skins with some fabrics here. We just need clothes of the same material as what we are currently wearing," Teiko said.
"Are you sure about that? Wolf skins are very rare materials nowadays since they are hunted so much for their skins and right now only few of them could be seen even in forests in large mountains," Cecilia said.
"But it's no use for us," Teiko said.
"Considering that you're the son of a hero and you're travelling right now. That means you're on the journey of becoming a hero, right? Clothes from wolf skin are really best for both of you, can I see the wolf skin that you gathered? Maybe I can do something in the span of a day," Cecilia said.
Teiko held out his hand.
《Dimensional Storage》
All of the wolf skin in his inventory fell down from the void and piled up on the ground.
"Hey, Teiko-nii. You should just show her one of the skin, the skin is getting stinky you know," Saki said.
“This is the wolf skin? No, this is not a regular wolf skin, it’s really sturdier than any other wolf skin. Making clothes from this stuff would make it enchanted. But you should at least put out one of these. It’s already cramped in here,” Cecilia said.
“Ahm, sorry about this Auntie. I’ll put them back,” Teiko said.
“It’s fine, just put them back and we’ll go outside later. Since the wolf skin is fresh, I’ll clean it first so it wouldn’t stink,” Cecilia replied.
Teiko put the other wolf skin back aside from a small one.
“Are you sure you don’t want to wait for me to finish using this?” Cecilia asked.
“We’ll be a bother if we stay here, your village has a shortage in food. If we can solve the problem with that, then we could stay here and wait for that, Auntie,” Teiko replied.
“I see, but if it’s the hero’s son, then it’s possible,” Cecilia said.
“What do you mean? Is there something going on here that resulted in the shortage of food?” Teiko asked.
“No, actually don’t mind that. If the village chief didn’t tell you about this, that means that he doesn't want to endanger outsiders,” Cecilia replied.
“What does she mean? I’m not detecting any evil presence in the whole area I can cover,” Saki said.
“If she said that outsiders should not be involved, then I should not ask her about it,” Teiko said.
“Anyway, are you guys not tired? You can take a shower first, if you’re traveling for many days, that means that you would enjoy it if you can get a proper bath,” Cecilia said.
Akeiko jumps out from where she is seated. She exclaimed, “Thank you so much, Auntie. Then I’ll take your offer.”
“I already prepared the bath when I get your tea ready, I know that you need it so one of you could go there already. Or do the two of you want to go together,” Cecilia said.
Do we look like we need to take a bath? Teiko asked himself.
Teiko smelled himself. He thought, “Yeah, it’s really that obvious.”
Teiko moved closer to Akeiko and tried to smell her too. But he was punched by Akeiko immediately.
“Teiko, the hell are you doing? I do not smell, I’m not like you! But I’ll take my bath first so wait here. Don’t even think about peeking and I’ll kill!” Akeiko exclaimed.
Akeiko immediately runs towards where Cecilia is pointing.
“What’s her problem? Are girls really concerned about their smell?” Teiko asked.
“Of course, girls are girls. But we never ever smelled bad,” Saki said.
