We couldn’t finish all of it, so we left it for the guards to take it back home for their use. Amber wore a suspicious look on her face, still thinking about what happened inside the cafe.
“You think so much about the past. Don’t hold that in your mind because it has no value; you’d be carrying a burden that’s not meant for you.” I advised her before ushering her into the back of the truck.
“I felt so nervous watching you speak to another lady, and I hate that feeling.” She confessed before turning her eyes back to her phone.
