Ryan’s POV
Jade looks at me deeply, standing up and heading toward the door. Then, she opened the door and found an envelope sitting on the doormat.
“Guess your information has arrived at our address. What are you about to do, Ryan?”
“It’s nothing you should worry about. It’s just a task I have to handle to get what I want.”
“So you’re now doing jobs for people?” She inquired before hurling the envelope to me; she didn’t even open it to check the contents, and that left me at ease.
“Not doing jobs. He wants me to keep an eye on someone and report what I see to him.”
