The lights went out, yet his first thought was about me. He made sure he held my hand so tight to be sure I was standing close to him and not going anywhere, and it felt good knowing that someone was ready to risk his life to save me if need be.
“What’s wrong?”
“The power supply has been going off and on for days, and they’re yet to figure out what the problem is.”
