I’ve never been scared of Alpha Kane, but it’s good that he’s out of the coma and alive. I didn’t do anything to hurt him because, after what he did to me, he collapsed.
We dressed casually this time and visited the hospital to see Alpha Kane since the Healer placed Quinn and her father in the same room.
“Have you been able to read any meaning into what happened to him?”
“According to my observations, I’d say that Alpha Kane was poisoned. The poison alerts all the senses of its host and makes the host a monster, which can only be curbed when there’s blood.”
“So you’re saying that he didn’t plan the attack on Alpha Kane?” I inquired while turning to look at the surprised look on Suzy’s face.
“This is a lot I can handle at once.” Suzy couldn’t shake off the worried look on her
