I had to keep her in check so she wouldn’t create a scene at the moment. I had to carry her upstairs to be able to keep her far away from Quinn.
Lunch was served in our bedroom, and we enjoyed every bit of it. That was the only way Suzy forgot about Quinn. I felt relieved, but the moment I heard my door banging, I hoped it wasn’t Quinn.
“Lord Stark wants to see you, sir. He says it’s urgent, Alpha Kane.”
“Urgent?” I was confused at that moment, hoping it was information that would help me find my father because that’s what mattered to me the most.
