Chapter 27: Seeking Help

Sydney I yanked on a sweatshirt and leggings, throwing my hair back into a ponytail and slipped my lock pin into my pocket as I raced out the door. I knew where they were taking Noah. There was only one place he could go, straight to my father at headquarters. But there was nothing I could do for him on my own. I needed help. There was only one person I knew who might listen to me, though he could very well just kill me, too. I hoped he wouldn’t. I hoped he’d give me the chance to explain, to see reason. Because if he didn’t, then Noah would die. And I couldn’t let that happen. The only problem with my plan was that I had no idea how to find Noah’s brother. I need to find Lawson. Darting out of the elevator as soon as the doors opened, I unlocked the town car before slipping inside
