NADINE “My hair pin!” I almost cried in relief when my hand touched the metal. Earlier I had noticed the buttons on the elevator. The red button had been moved out of place and the green and blue ones had gotten stuck. In my panic I hadn't noticed them properly. If I could use the hair pin to adjust the buttons maybe it would open wide enough for me to get out of the elevator? I immediately got to work, I carefully used the hairpin to shift the position of the buttons. I was very cautious as I pushed the hairpin in.
