HENDRIX My phone vibrated on the car seat. I glanced at it and saw it was Nadine. I was on my way to the company's workshop to check the progress of our pro smartphone. I considered returning her call when I got there but after a second thought I parked the car and picked my phone. I looked at the phone vibrating in my hand. Nadine never called me unless it was very important. I frowned at the thought. I connected the call to my ear buds and picked the call. “My house got burgled”, she said immediately and my eyes widened in shock. I gripped the steering wheel tightly as I registered in her words. “What? How did it happen?” I asked worriedly and she sighed as she began to explain the details to me while I listened with a frown. “So they burgled the place without taking anything?”
