I was in my office two days later going through some files when the sound of my ringtone filled the room.
Furrowing my eyebrows, I picked my phone curious to see who the caller was. It was an unknown number. A wave of apprehension washed through me but I pushed it away. I took in a deep breath and answered the call.
“Miss Nadine,” a deep voice filtered through the line and I sat up straight.
“Who's this?” I asked, raising my brows.
“It's Joshua Clinton, the CEO of the Black Tech company,” He revealed and I sucked in a breath.
