NADINE An unknown man came down from the car and stood right in front of me and bowed. “Good morning ma'am,” he greeted respectfully. “Sir Hendrix sent me.” “This car has been specially assigned to you and I'm your new driver.” I stared blankly at him, unable to digest the sudden information. “A car? A driver?” I was tempted to call Hendrix but I remembered I hadn't taken any of his calls. He had probably called to tell me in advance. The driver was still looking at me expectantly and I sighed. I couldn't leave him waiting here. “Let's go,” I stated in a resigned tone, he opened the door for me and I got in. Just as the ride began my phone chimed with a message.
