“Yes, she had asked me when we planned to get married” I relayed to Hendrix.
Mother seemed really interested in when we were going to get married.
“Hendrix I had managed to stall her by saying that we are still trying to settle things at the office but I know she would still ask again,” I said worriedly.
She looked disappointed when I told her that we weren't planning for marriage yet.
The rest of the conversation was awkward till she finally said she had to go home.
I didn't know what else to tell her so I just nodded.
“I'm almost at the company. I'll head over to your office so we can discuss further details on it.”
“Hmm, don't worry about anything. I'll talk to mother,” Hendrix stated and I calmed down a little.
