CHAPTER 8
After Babs and Wilson finished breakfast, about the middle of the morning the next day, Babs decided she needed to check in with the head librarian at the library. She wanted to be sure she had at least another week off. They parked in front of the library and, when they got out of the car, Wilson noticed the fire station two buildings down from the library.
“Why don’t I go in and check out the fire station while you go to the library?” asked Wilson.
“Okay,” said Babs. She turned in his arms and gave him a long goodbye kiss before going into the library.
