The way out was to backtrack through the main building. The dogs got a lot of stares from other deputies who turned and curiously watched them walk by. Sara kept them short-leashed and navigated the aisles between the desks. She caught sight of Johanna checking and then holstering her pistol. She headed in Johanna"s direction. Choco gave a low growl and pulled hard. Someone must have carried the scent of another dog. Choco growled again.
