Denys Melody was watching him swim. He could feel her eyes on him. She was finally relaxing, not even bothering to wear the wig. She had discovered very early on that sand happened to get everywhere, and after a day of being scratched on the head she abandoned the very idea of it. After all they were the only ones there, she didn’t have to worry about being judged. “You know, you can come in too.” He called to her, treading water to watch her. She gestured to her dress and shook her head, quickly looking back to the castle she was making on the beach. He had spent the evening the day before explaining to her how to wet the sand to get it to stay. Melody was decorating the castle with shells that she had found around. Denys chuckled and swam towards her again. He grinned as he got closer
