Chapter 1 - Nice day

You would think the child would be the slow one... well not in this house hold.

"I'll be in the car Mom, I've packed you a lunch please grab a fruit before you lock up the house."I say while walking out the front door.

"Thanks honey you're my hero..." she shouts back

It's been hard for her ever since dad just left. He gave no reason what so ever he just left. Mom was so lost for the longest time, I didn't know how to help her. she slowly started to get better knowing that I was still there and I wasn't going anywhere.

The drive to school was funny like always we jam to the radio singing along like a couple of loonys who sound like they are dying... It's quite entertaining. By the time the song is dying down mom has just pulled up to the school gates.

"Bye Ma, Love you" say while I'm jumping out the car... normally I'd drive myself but my car is in for repairs at the moment. Hopefully I get it in the next two days.

"Bye my baby I love you so mu..." BANG !! I slammed the door such but it was to late I already had a few eyes looking at me.

Ahhh man why today of all day did she have to go that far. Next minute I'm jumping out of my skin while my best friend Kate-Lynne tackles me in a hug.

"ahhh bye baby I lov....."Kate said

"SHUT IT" I try to put my hand over her mouth while she laughing at how my mom has just embarrassed me. "Hey Kate whats up?" I said "Thanks for the fright I nearly wet myself, I think I have had enough embarrassing things already this morning." I say while walking in the direction of the school entrance.

yay final year of High school, Yeah I know I'm one of the lucky few getting to finish school young. I'm the baby in my group of friends, there's Rick and Kelsey , Megan and Jody and Rebecca and Isla, as well as Kate and Me. Kate has a boy friend but he much older than us by 2-3 years so he working aboard at the moment. "Hey blue fairy " Kelsey says bringing me out of my thinking bubble.

"Hey sweet thang" Rick shout my way while everyone laughs, we all hug hello while we pull apart in walks Mr hot stuff with Gemma on his arm and his football mates and the side chicks following behind him.

He shoots me a head nod and walks by... the way he makes my heart flutter I cant contain my blush. "Wow someones blushing I wonder why?" Jody pipes up. Oh I could just wack him.
