Green eyes open with a flutter motion as soft white snow falls to the surface of her window. Her hands raise to her tired eyes, pushing away the sleep. She sits up in her bed, her focus moving to the window on her left. A smile slowly breaks out onto her face. Snow for Christmas. Feeling giddy, Gia rushes out of bed, and races to the bathroom, doing her morning routine, before exiting out and entering the living room. Her mother is there, sitting on the black and leather sofa. Coffee in hand while her dark brown eyes lazily follow the snow etching on to the glass of the windows. "It's snowing!" Gia exclaims, stating the obvious. She takes a seat beside her mother. Her eyes wander to their last minute fake white Christmas tree in the corner of the room. There's a few wrapped present
